Dr. Kathy Kinney:
Told her parents at 10 years old that she wanted to be a veterinarian after rescuing a turtle at summer choir camp. Following her dream, she graduated with a BS in zoology from the University of Georgia followed by her DVM at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She immediately came to work for Dr. Seaborn Whatley in 1993. She became Dr. Whatley’s business partner in 2000 then purchased the clinic outright in 2004. Her fur family consists of 2 rescue cats and one rescue dog.
Taylor Gibson
Taylor started at Whatley-Kinney Veterinary Clinic in 2021. She came to us with 6 plus years of experience in the veterinary field and is a licensed veterinary technician. Taylor lives with her husband, son & three fur babies. She enjoys hiking, reading, eating cookies and traveling.
Jaime Bunch
Jaime came to work with us in September 2018. She works as an assistant, in the kennel and the front office. She loves kayaking, collecting rocks and moss and all things about nature. Her fur family consists of 4 cats and 2 dogs.
Chip Woodall
Chip is Dr. Seaborn Whatley’s nephew and worked with him at Glenwood Veterinary Clinic when he was a teenager. He joined our team in April of 2020. He works the kennels, assists in the exam room and is an expert handyman. In his spare time he enjoys searching for arrowheads, hunting, fishing and painting.
Elaine Woodall
Elaine has been with us longer than everyone except Dr. Kinney. She joined our team in April of 1995. She is the head receptionist. She is married and has a grown daughter and son, a grandson and 3 cats. She keeps us running smoothly and efficiently.
Jessica Sanchez
Jessica is a crafty and fun vet assistant. She works mostly in the kennels. She loves animals. She has had quite the menagerie in the past. Currently she has 3 dogs and 2 cats.
